WHERE have I been? I am on the other side of 50 and well... its a blessing to have you, your wit and humor while on this journey of growing older by the minute. I lost my way after a divorce and being estranged from my daughter during her teen years (some of my best friends said I didn't miss much - just a lot of me-me-me tantrums) and we are now back in each others lives. I have had to reinvent myself so many times I wake up and wonder which person I am today - oh, yes, I remember - - I now wear jeans, wranglers and Tony Lamas to work everyday - and drive my pickup truck to the ranch I work on in the middle of nowhere! As I write this at 1 am in the morning - the coyotes are howling and our dog is on the porch having his own howling fit.... only the Beverly Hillbillies would appreciate this! Gotta get the gun loaded and see whats going on out there..... never a dull moment past the age of 50! I just found you! WHERE have I been? I just turned 50 and celebrated with a book release of The Laptop Dancer Diaries: A Mostly True Story About Finding Love Again. The book is a humor memoir about a woman (that would be me!) wanting to be more adventurous, write a book, and find love before turning 50. I had an adventure a month, and, as I said, celebrated my 50th birthday with the book release. As for love? Well, I certainly learned much more about love than I ever thought I would, but I don't want to ruin the surprise ending! Thanks for providing this site and the radio show. You make fifty fun!
