Jeanna Doyle is on a mission. Her goal? Giving a much-needed boost of confidence to cancer patients who are battling the harsh effects of chemotherapy and other treatments. The diagnosis alone is daunting. But, when you add on the significant and rapid change to one’s appearance, the result can be overwhelming.
That’s where Jeanna comes in. Jeanna is a veteran makeup artist with over 25 years of experience working in both medical and media settings. Due to a friend’s illness, she realized there is a real need for women to feel their best while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. As Jeanna says, “I wanted to design something that spoke to a woman’s higher sense of self, that celebrated her beauty rather than reminding her of illness.” For these reasons, she created both an amazing book, Wig ED, and a nonprofit, Suite HOPE.
Wig ED is filled with practical recommendations and insights for selecting just the right wig. Suite HOPE (Helping Oncology Patients Esthetically) is an organization Jeanna hopes will better the lives of thousands of women.
If you are a cancer patient or know someone who is, please take 15-minutes to listen to what Jeanna has to say. I was both inspired and enlightened by this amazing woman and I guarantee that you will be, too. Jeanna’s work can change lives just when people need it the most. And that’s a word worth spreading….
