I've been scrolling around your website for a while now (I found you through Gregory Ann's "Midlife With A Vengeance" site) and have thoroughly enjoyed your writing and your topics. Thanks! It's been a great morning!

I found myself at 50 unhappy with my job and, more importantly, my life. Well, one had a lot to do with the other. I wanted more freedom to travel and play with my grandkids. My job didn't permit that.

So, at age 54 I quit my job and went to work at home as a freelance writer and virtual assistant. (I was fortunate in that regard to have the support of my daughter, Nicole Dean, who is an internet marketing expert.)

So, with a few writing assignments through my daughter and her friends, I started on a new path. Now, 2 years later, I am making more money than I was at my j-o-b AND I have the freedom I desired.

We can do what we need to do to make ourselves happy and healthy. I love what I'm doing to make money, I am exercising regularly, and I'm stronger and more fit than I have been for a long time.

Thank you for this great site and all the wonderful information and the good laughs. I can't wait to get a little more time to read more and to visit your Blog Roll. Thanks!

Eileen-I can attest to the power of your new book. I made my way through it like a workbook and it did wonders for reformatting how I present myself on paper and in person. I am about 3/4 the way through an intense interview process, but feeling very confident in my skin. Thanks so much for helping tell my story!
