Sometimes at the Spring Equinox, my friends and I put the metaphorical seeds we want to hatch in those colorful plastic eggs. This is more or less our manifestation list, written on a slip of paper, the things we wanted to plant and nurture. We can open the eggs and see how they're blooming as the year goes on, until we harvest them in autumn. I had never thought of applying this seasonal metaphor to menopause. That's a true touch of genius, Eileen!

Spring is very special. It tells us so much about life and hope and potential. I believe it speaks to us at a much deeper level than most are willing to admit.

I find spring such a refreshing time of the year. Easter brings with it the sweet scent of what is to come - summer. I hadn't thought about it but wether it's coloring an egg or a new hatching breaking free of it's shell something new is emerging. Enjoying your site

Raven is one of several members of Boomer Diva Nation who discovered their passion--their new beginnings at midlife. It just goes to show you you're never too old to pick up your torch and run (or walk) with it into your destiny.
