My hairdresser was just telling me today that I need a friend. I spend so much time holed up with my kids and my life that I forget to nurture other relationships. They were there when my husband was sick with cancer and died. They were supportive and did not give up on me, but allowed me the time it took to dig out of that deep, dark hole.
